Limited Blind Steals
Get more aggressive as the pokerstakes get higher. When you play in a tournament, don’t come out firing right away. The hands become more valuable as the blinds are raised, so save all of your gutsy bluff attempts for when the blind are worth stealing. When you bet in an attempt to steal some online poker blinds, your opponents will notice. Even if you don’t see people watching you, they are taking note of how you play, and every time you buy up a few blinds, the odds of that trick working again goes down. Think of it this way-act as if you have a limited amount of successful blind steals. Pretend that you’ve got a maximum of ten blinds to steal, and you have to pick and choose which ones you want. If you had to pick ten, wouldn’t you want those ten to be the most profitable? The truth is, the more blinds you steal, the less effective they’ll be. As you buy up pots, your poker online opponents will notice your play and start calling your bluffs more often. Don’t waste your bluffs with meager blinds when you can steal real money later on in the game. Make sure that the blinds that you steal are worth the effort.
