My Profile of Nicholas Bredimus – Designer & Inventor Extraordinaire

Hailing from New Jersey, Mr Nicholas Bredimus brought the practices of software, airlines, and hospitality together and forever changed these industries. This innovative man has been involved in a number of fields, from the designer home design industry through the essentials of safety in the air and computer programs to help with time management. Examining Nicholas Bredimus’ lineage it’s easy to tell he was bound to achieve distinction. Bringing elements together from a true melting pot, his clan traces to Antiquity, with the maternal branch primarily German and Scottish. England and Luxembourg are the source for his paternal line, although the family came to America at the end of the 19th century. After they arrived in the United States of America, the family continued to persevere and climb to the top. Nicholas, who would grow up with his six siblings, was born to a father who earned a living as a mechanical design engineer and a mother who was employed as a practicing nurse. Nicholas would live in the Lone Star State for a number of years and also spent time in Scottsdale, AZ, Reston, VA and Kansas City, MO.

Nicholas has taken on high-powered jobs with businesses across the air travel industry – the bulk of them eminently popular brands. Among these was included the position of Vice President for Republic Airlines, Trans World Airlines (TWA), and Hughes Airwest. Most notable, even considering this, was his time as an inspired software architect working with the airlines. His insight into aircraft maintenance management programs, now commonplace throughout the airline business while originally coded for US Airways, ultimately resulted in what is probably his most popular creation. Of course, this stands as just one of his key products for the hotel sector and for airlines. The booking programs he designed are on their way to stand alongside the aforementioned program as a commonplace, and his hotel reservation program enabled many major market players in the hotel industry to integrate the very first pc based infrastructure. He also developed QuikTix, an automatic ticket ordering network. He leveraged these successes to move into capacities unconnected to software design. With his own firm – Bredimus Systems – overseeing IT for American Express, and as the founding president of AMR Travel Services his record speaks for itself. Is he still active? Decidedly so – his unmatched creativity is still very much in demand and at the ready no matter his leaving prior interests in the past. At present, he designs and builds superior homes featuring all of the most advanced green technology on the market. That untiring drive we have mentioned here will not end.
