The New Party Place – the Garage!

Garages are often full of old items that are no longer useful but have some level of sentimental value which makes them difficult to part with. These items take up space that could be used for much better and more entertaining purposes – such as parties!
Garages make great party venues. If something is spilt on the garage floor, such as red wine or coffee it is nowhere near as potentially disastrous as it being spilt in the house. On the same note, if there are many people attending the party, there is likely to be one or two walking a lot of mud or whatever else through your living room, stop this before it begins and direct them to the garage!
A few decent sized heaters, a good portable music system and enough space to have a dance, what more do you need?
Using disposable cups, plates and cutlery can also help. When people have finished get the bin bags out and throw everything away. It is even possible to consider recycling if you have used paper plates and cups. This can be a great time saver, as well as cut down on any potential breakages that usually occur at house parties.
If it is a party you are having to celebrate your son or daughter’s birthday, especially if they are teenagers, the garage will also serve one other very welcome advantage as a venue. By keeping the music away from the house!
