Senseo is making sure that this year it comes packaged in a designer outfit. To celebrate the end of the year, Senseo is bringing out a limited edition of the espresso machine designed by renowned designer Marcel Wanders. This isn’t the first time that the coffee giant has brought out a limited edition designed version, the designer Tord Boontje was responsible for the predecessor.

The designer Marcel Wanders isn’t new to collaboration with big corporate as he has worked with big brands such as Puma, Swarovski and airline KLM before. According to Wanders working with Senseo was definitely the most challenging as he had to transform an everyday appliance into a funky and stylish gadget that would look good in the home. Wanders has won several accolades for his design work, in 2006 he won the prestigious Designer of the Year award from Elle Decoration International Design Awards. De Senseo Limited Edition by Marcel Wanders is available to buy for 119 and you can choose from red or grey till the end of December. Senseo is one of the biggest espresso machine manufactures and is based in the Netherlands it rivals big Italian companies who have been long established.
