My Method to Guide a Life Affirmation: Synthetic Wigs Do Wonders
The majority of us never thought the breathtakingly human Colleen Upton, our family friend, could ever own and wear wigs. Her trademark hair was synonymous with impeccable style. Get this. The one and only will be eternally recognized for her style. Only a handful of souls know she wears synthetic wigs. They work well.
As mere children in Arizona, we used to stole the spotlights to every dance. In our twenties her alopecia started acting up and she became nearly bald. I did hint at these lace wigs. Oh well, she shrugged it off. She somewhat obnoxiously never let you forget about her innate beauty.
At her fiance’s baseball championship, we ate nuts until her loverboy purposefully launched the ball (or however you say it) at us. She tried to get it and her cute little hat fell off, revealing her bald head. No big deal, she hurled the thing with a tremendous heave back to the field. What’d I tell ya about her spunk?
However, everyone has insecurities. Not too long after we got together for a mid-day lemonade chat, when she grabbed my arm and revealed that she would rather make do with a shorn head out of anger. She dare not look at human hair wigs, secretly acknowledging she knew it was a good idea. At that moment our fearless protagonist stopped talking and demanded that I dismiss the notion. So I did.
I couldn’t drop it. That night, I IM’d with her about going shopping with me for a new lace front wig. Finally we arrived at the obvious conclusion: we’ll think of wigs as fashion, and we love fashion. One for me and one for her.
Not sure who was more floored by the wide selection of hair colors, textures and styles. We never knew that women’s medical wigs are this fashionable for people, even superstars. These wigs for women’s hair loss were marvelous. Personally, I coordinated a delightfully fresh ensemble to go with my synthetic wig. We do it all together, if you haven’t heard. Recently she gave me a photo of us in our wigs and thanked me for giving her back her hair, and disclosed that it invites a new attitude for many occasions. It’s delightful to watch my best friend reclaim her beauty. And she’s still got the attitude.
