Soccer Uniform Make-Up

Soccer Uniforms are comprised of 4 items. All soccer uniformsoccer uniforms have cleats, socks, shorts and a soccer jersey.

Socks are very important to keep from getting blisters, despite what it may seem. They also keep the soccer player’s feet warm and dry, something that is particularly important during the cold wet rainy season.

Cleats must be comfortable and properly fit. A child should try them on with socks and make sure their shin guards also mesh with the shoes. Without good cleats, a soccer player is more likely to get blisters or sprain their ankle.

soccer uniformSoccer shorts are almost always made of polyester and should be loose but not too loose. Most come with a string at the waistline to cinch them just tight enough and they often have mesh sides to allow for airflow circulation. They will usually be colored to match the team’s colors.

Soccer shirts also will have the team colors on them. Soccer Uniforms have to me made with unique fabric because of the nature of the game and number of hours the players are on the field. They come in various types, including v-neck or scoop-neck and can be made of cotton, polyester or nylon. They often have some logos and striping on them.

The whole soccer uniform should generally wick sweat away from the player’s body which will help the soccer player stay comfortable and warm in their soccer uniform.
