I’ll be clear, I’m not a spineless laid back man, all too accustomed to watching junk tv without a date on a Friday night. I’d bet nobody haven’t heard me post on great dating and companionship. There’s a reason for that.

Idleness is an unfortunate foreign condition and completely missing from my playbook. But, There’s no point avoiding it, I had to end a 3-year fling which meant a lot for us but essentially carried on to nowhere. So one might say its been ages since I dated. I don’t have the great expectations I held years ago.

Being single is new and free. One thing is for sure, I don’t know how to spend another weekend undisturbed, watching Jack Bauer (from 24) episodes off the torrents. The number one reason for this spell of incidental dating loneliness? The people I know are settling down, and there are fewer available women.

My go-getting football buddy, Andrew, who doesn’t know the meaning of dating apathy, informed me he’s currently somewhere he can relate. He joinedGreat Expectations Dallas. Of course, I like getting to know fun women who share my passions. Surprise, I decided to make a change and I’m now a satisfied member.

Here’s the deal, you wouldn’t feel down due to not having plans when you haven’t called anyone. As our old basketball coach Chris Jennings often said between war stories, “Fools lose before they try, sonny.”

Sheer genius, right? Regardles, he was on the money in a round about way. He was good humored. This amazing Dallas matchmaking service I joined might’ve short circuted the gipper’s mind.

Last night at a Great Expectations happy hour I breezily chatted with a ton of accomplished and desirable women that meet my eye. I actually had a carefree night with dozens of indisputably enjoyable people. Went home following a sweet farewell, and as a plus, I came across some political relationships for my business. I’m impressed.

Get out there. Can’t go wrong if you don’t try. Listen to me and you might as well have great expectations for great dating.
