One of Europe’s most famous skiing areas, Val d’Isre boasts 416 KM of groomed trails. The season begins during mid November and stops in May. The high altitude purpose built French village supplies for all your needs. The village is spread through the vale from La Daille as far as Le Fornet with the apres ski in the centre of Val Village. Cons

Overpriced. Busy and very fashionable with the English, so not for people wanting a classic French ski town to relish a stress free vacation. A lot of ski lifts can close in stormy conditions. Some tricky blue and green trails.
